Ceenex appointed for state-of-the-art process and hydraulic design for Mmamashia WTW in Botswana

The company is part of a multi-disciplinary team and will undertake the Process and Hydraulic Design for the WTW, as well as the Civil-Engineering Design for certain components of the plant.

This project will increase the treatment capacity of Mmamashia WTW from 110 Ml/day to 220 Ml/day. The upgrade is part of a larger project that will strengthen water supply to Lobatse/Barolong, Thamaga/Moshupa/Kanye, Molepolole and Mochudi/Bokaa catchment areas within the Greater Gaborone corridor.

Ceenex was awarded the project based on its impressive track record designing water infrastructure.

“Established in 1970 to manage a water supply and distribution project in the Shashe Development Area, the WUC is now responsible for supplying water and waste-water services to Gaborone, Francistown, Lobatse, Jwaneng, Selebi-Phikwe and Sowa. It is an essential component of far-reaching reforms undertaken in the country over recent years to provide efficient water and waste-water services to citizens of the country.
