Sarel Holtzhausen

Name: Sarel Holtzhausen Pr Eng.

Designation: Director

Experience: 16 years

Qualifications: B Eng (Civil) B Eng Hons (Water Resource Engineering), University of Pretoria

Professional affiliations: ECSA, SAICE, WISA, IMESA

 

Sarel Holtzhausen has been working in the municipal infrastructure and mainly the water sector since the start of his career in 2003. Initially as a civil designer on water projects ranging from treatment plants, pump stations and reticulation systems and later as a water planning consultant and process designer for water supply systems and wastewater treatment plants. He has been part of numerous infrastructure projects within the following key disciplines:

 

  • Residential, commercial and industrial developments

  • Grant funded Municipal infrastructure projects

  • Potable Water Treatment

  • Industrial and Domestic Wastewater Treatment and Re-use

  • Existing Treatment facilities, optimisation and process audits

  • Refurbishment of municipal water and sanitation infrastructure

  • Pipeline and pumped systems

  • Feasibility and funding applications for infrastructure projects

  • Mining infrastructure

 

Sarel Holtzhausen started his career in 2003 with Africon Engineering International. He then joined LHL Consulting Engineers in 2004, which later became Sizatech Consulting Engineers. In 2008, he became a shareholder and Director of Sizatech which in 2014 merged with Ceenex (Pty) Ltd. He is currently an Executive Director with Ceenex, heading the Engineering Business Unit.

Mr Sekgobela has collective experience in entrepreneurship, project management; construction management; marketing and business development (both existing & new). He is proficient in key project identification, negotiation and execution. He is also experienced in determining and formulating relevant policies and providing the overall direction of a company and projects that he is involved in. He is experienced in developing strategic plans to advance the companies mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth. He is an expert in directing the company's operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.

 

In 2018 he became an Executive Director at Ceenex, heading the Business Development Business Unit.

Imre Viljoen

Name: Viljoen, Imre

Qualifications: B Eng (Industrial) cum laude, University of Pretoria

Professional affiliations: Member of Southern African Institute for Industrial Engineering (MSAIIE).

Imre has been an active player in the Engineering and Information Technology arena for more than 29 years in the following areas:
